It was the first game of the series so not only does it have a great plot (Batman trapped on Arkham Island with all the villains breaking out, sign me up!) but it has the most fundamental version of the combat system so you won't have to worry about all the crazy stuff that happens in the later games. WebArkham City is not that. Arkham City is an open world game with a really small open world in comparison to games releasing now. That is by no means a negative. I think the size of the map is kind of perfect for what it is trying to do. But it does come with some drawbacks that in hindsight make the game kind of tedious to play for completion.
