Now looking at the pipe run, the pipe that runs down from this T joint is, I guess, the hot water feed for the rest of the house. WebOct 19, 2024 · Much easier than i thought, yep that pipe goes into the bottom of the tank. I assume I’ll need to drain all the water out once I manage to turn the tap, it’s very stiff. If that valve fully closes then there won’t be much water that runs from the tap. Opening the lowest hot tap will help. The cylinder will remain full.
