If you have the axis to assign it to try pushing your brake all the way down, then click to assign and release the brake and push it back in to assign. Little bit of oil on the rails and they will stay smooth and fluid. The benefit would be that you wouldn't need additonal binding for your brakes and they could be used in racing games aswell.
