WebMy biggest impression is that for like half the album I literally cannot hear the guitars half the time. The bass is just way more forward. I feel like they overly scooped the guitar tone to make room for Howard's voice, but in the same way that the bass is often lost in metal due to being too glued to the guitar, I think it was the opposite here.
